Regional Program Manager, ODSP

Are you an experienced leader, ready to be challenged by planning, developing and managing the delivery of a range of comprehensive social service programs in the South East Region with the Ministry of Community and Social Services? Consider joining our multidisciplinary Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) team, where you will oversee a large operation with over 100 staff delivering critical services in a decentralized, changing and complex environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead managers and staff in the attainment of program objectives and ensure excellent customer service
• Operationalize strategic directions and long-term plans incorporating service delivery, legislative, financial, human resources and other requirements
• Collaborate with other leaders to measure success and plan program changes for improvement
• Participate as a member of the South East Regional Management Team providing leadership to all program areas under the mandate of the Regional office.

Location: 11 Beechgrove Lane, Kingston.

Qualifications:

Your background and experience enables you to meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in, and extensive knowledge of strategic leadership in a front-line unionized service organization
• Highly developed management, supervision, leadership, labour relations, human resources, financial management, change management and organizational skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to maintain constructive relationships
• Comprehensive planning, problem-solving and negotiating skills regarding complex situations, including associated risk management recommendations
• Ability to interpret a wide range of legislation/policies/guidelines, and theories and practices related to the delivery of social service programs
• Ability to travel.

Salary range: $84,006 - $110,380
